     Juvederm is hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in our skin.  It comes in the form of gel which is injected through a needle into different areas of the skin.  Juvederm has a different use than Botox in restoring a youthful appearance.  While Botox is effective on improving specific lines, Juvederm is best used to fill contours such as the nasolabial folds, corners of the mouth, scars, and provide additional fullness to the lips.
